This popular railroad model is finished with a gold center wheel, straight line damaskeening and friction-set ruby jewels. The screw back/bezel case is plain polished and Near Mint. The average white dial is marked with black outer min. numerals and black Arabic hr. chapters. The dial is signed "Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewels."

11 23 Jewel Waltham Vanguard Beautiful Early Locomotive Case, 16 Size, Gold Filled, Open Face, Lever Set, RR #22,255,461 C. 1918:

This spectacular Near Mint case features a highly detailed old-fashioned locomotive and wavy line engine turnings engraved on the back cover. The screw back/bezel case protects a beautiful early Vanguard movt. which carries ruby jewels in screw down gold settings and a gold center wheel. The white enameled dial is double sunk and marked with red 5-min. numerals and black Arabic hr. chapter, the condition is superb.

20 23 Jewel Waltham Vanguard Up/Down Wind Indicator, 16 Size, Gold Filled, Open Face, Lever Set, RR #25,344,450 C. 1922:

Marked "Adjusted" on the center bridge, this movt. carries a gold center wheel and is finished with checkerboard damaskeening. The main ratchet wheel is signed "Lossier Inner Terminal Hair Spring." The screw back/bezel case is centered by a diamond-shaped monogram on the back cover, the condition is Near Mint. The Very Fine porcelain dial carries a 24-hr. indicator hand at the 12 o'clock position, Arabic hr. chapters and red 5-min. marks are also featured. A beautiful affordable up/down!

This is one of the most ornate movements ever produced. The beautiful 3-finger, nickel, bridge movt. comes with spectacular gold lettering, beautiful damaskeening and a solid gold train, the movt. is signed "Adj. 21 Jewels No. 270 U. S. A." The mechanism comes in a screw back/bezel case which is finished with deeply carved large leaf patterns on the back cover, the condition is mint. The white porcelain dial is Very Fine, double sunk and marked with Arabic hr. chapters and red 5-min. numerals.

This mint condition, beautiful, nickel, full plate movt. is marked with bright gold lettering and beautiful damaskeening. Ruby jewels in screw down settings are featured along with the "Father Time" signature. The fabulous unused case is beautifully engine turned with an uninitialed crest at center and flower/ribbon patterns decorating the outer edges. The dial is double sunk, Very Fine and marked with Arabic chapters and red 5-min. marks.

Circular damaskeening appears on this adjusted 3/4 plate "Ball" signed movt. A spectacular high relief locomotive appears on the back cover of the screw back and bezel Near Mint condition case. The double sunk porcelain dial is marked with Arabic chapters and red 5-min. marks, the condition is Very Fine.

This movt. is marked "Bunn Special" on the train plate and "Elinvar" below the balance assembly. It is marked "161A" near the center jewel. The ultra high-grade railroad mechanism comes in a screw back/bezel railroad case which is Near Mint and finished with a small uninitialed marquise-shaped frame on the back cover along with vertical striping and fancy outer edge engravings. The white porcelain dial is superb, double sunk and marked with beautiful bold black Arabic hr. chapters and blue diamond-shaped hands.

It is protected by an inner movt. ring which directly connects to the upper pendant and bow. This pair case design is quite unique, the outer hinged bezel and back cover are in Near Mint condition and finished with flowing leaf/flower patterns on the back.
