offset seconds bit located at the 3 o'clock position, this allows the
hunters case movement to instantly become an open face railroad style.

with beautiful pale-pink roses set with ruby-red paste center stones,

Louis XIV hands complete the fabulous design. The case is new/old
stock unused condition with hypnotic engine turnings, a small village
scene, intertwined ribbon designs, a large petaled flower and classic
engine turnings. The front also comes with a small initialed frame.

pattern around the center which is signed "American Waltham." The

bouquet to the left of center, the dial is signed "A. W. W. Co.
Waltham" above the seconds bit. The dial is marked with Arabic hour
chapters which are enhanced with gold rosettas and gold archways, gold
minute dots appear on the outer edges along with a beautiful pink
shade, the dial is very fine. The case is unused, it comes with
wonderful lily-type flowers and Art Nouveau inspired flowing leaf
patterns set against a sunburst background. A small crest appears on
the front cover and a small country scene appears on the inner cuvette.

case has been engraved "U. S. Army" on the back cover and it is also
engraved "Chronometer Watch." The original dial features a 48-hour
indicator below the 12 o'clock position. The dial is superb with
Arabic chapters, black spade pointers and a black minute track. Near
mint condition inner/outer wood boxes are presented with this
collectible Model 22 chronometer. The interior box comes with the
