2007 Catalog #36
A Catalog of Fine and
Important Antique Jewelry
|

|
A few of the “Estate
Items” are new pieces from the Estate of Mrs. Diana Jones
Barstall that we offered in the past. These important and elegant
creations are diverse not only in design and type but also price
range. We didn’t have room in the past catalog to include the
entire collection.
Katheryn Boone was born in 1902 in the great state of
Texas. She was raised, educated and introduced to Richard Johnson
of Dallas in 1927. By this time Mr. Johnson, five years her
senior, was implanted in the oil industry.
After a brief eleven month courtship, the pair that everyone
thought was perfect together, united in a very formal wedding.
Deciding to stay where the economic pulse of the country was, and
the most important family, the newlyweds made outside Dallas their
home.
Success and children soon followed with the family roots going
deeper into the glamour of Dallas high society.
Ashland is very proud to offer some spectacular jewelry creations
that garnished beautiful Mrs. Johnson as she attended functions
and galas throughout her lifetime. Most pieces denoted as “Estate
Item” after the description once adorned Katheryn Boone
Johnson’s wardrobe. Own some of the prestige!
